Crack Cake

I ran across this recipe by The Sarcastic Blonde in the pintrest black hole. It's my go to when I need dessert in a hurry, it's always a crowd favorite.



Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow butter cake mix

  • ¼ c brown sugar

  • ¼ c white sugar

  • 1 box vanilla pudding instant mix

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 4 eggs

  • ¾ c water

  • ¾ c oil

  • ½ c sauvignon blanc (although I'm sure any white wine would work)

FOR THE GLAZE :

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • ¼ cup white wine


Direction:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix the above ingredients by hand or hand mixer.

  3. Grease a bundt pan VERY well. (I use Pam Baking Spray)

  4. Pour into pan and Bake for 1 hour, or until a knife comes out clean.

  5. When cake comes out of the oven... Melt 1 stick butter into 1 cup sugar and ¼ cup wine.

  6. Poke hole on the top of the cake. Pour sauce over hot cake.

  7. Cool completely flip out of pan onto plate and serve
